Michael Flynn wants immunity for testimony

Michael Flynn's attorney says the former national security adviser is in discussions with the House and Senate intelligence committees on receiving immunity from "unfair prosecution" in exchange for questioning in the Russia investigation.


President Donald Trump is facing new questions after an Flynn's attorney said his client is in discussions with the Congressional committees about speaking to them in exchange for immunity.


The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee declined to grant immunity to Flynn. Former federal prosecutor Peter Zeidenberg says the committee would be smart to make a deal.
